Camvnet is Control And Monitoring via the interNet. With the increasing availability of broadband, it is now cost effective to manage plant & equipment remotely using a web browser. Systems are priced by quotation but a typical small site application with a WebCam, single analog monitoring point (temperature, water level, etc) & contact closure output, all within a 5km range of the web access point is priced at under $9000.
For obvious reasons, we can't link you to any of our customers secure/encrypted Camvnet portals but please check out the remote test site as we develop new applications. Camvnet is scalable technolgy built on a simple template using swap in / swap out firmware. This modular approach yields a rapid prototyping capability where minor code changes on either the site or host server coupled with different radio modules in the field can morph a frost amelioration system into a tank farm management platform or internet based irrigation site in record time.
